I love my HD DVD player and its not going anywhere. I use it to watch Netflix movies beautifully upscaled to 1080P on my 60 Inch Sony TV. I'm not constantly swapping out game disks to watch movies, since it's a separate drive. One drive for games and one for movies. Sharing one drive sucks. Not to mention that it works great with my Harmony universal remote; no using some stupid game controller to try to control a movie. Forza 2 and PGR 4 kick ass. Funny how everyone keeps comparing Forza 2 to GT5. GT5 is still a demo and won't be released until mid-2009. Forza 2 is awesome and was released OVER A YEAR AGO. I'll laugh out loud if Forza 3 releases before GT5.
Who cares if its on two disks anyway. Install one disk to the hard drive, put it in the drawer and run from the other disk. How is this different than any of the PS3 games with 5G+ loads?
I loved Raiden and the million knockoff games that followed it. I'm definitely interested in this one for some cheap thrills.
Probably will release about the same time as GT5 or even a little before. Funny how everyone compared the GT5 vaporware to Forza 2. In the end there was no competition for Forza 2 from the PS3 - unless you count a demo. The real comparison is Forza 3 VS GT5 in 2009. I can't wait.
LOL! Talk about apples and oranges. When I was first playing Forza 2 ONE YEAR AGO, my PS3-owning friend thumbed his nose and told me how great GT5 would be. GT5 won't be out until mid-2009. Forza 3 should be out not too long after that! Sheesh this is vaporware vs full released software.

Hopefully they'll make it an external add-on drive just like the HD DVD was. This is much more convenient: one drive for movies and one drive for games. Save a ton of disk swapping.
I hope its a hit. I'd like to have a game that's like DMC, but without the g@y DMC storyline and cut scenes. Too Human looks like it could well be an awesome game with an epic storyline. Then again if they don't pull it off right...it could suck.

Great!!! Hopefully the selection will be a lot better than the current streaming videos to PC. Also, it will hopefully be download rather than streaming - or both. Download will give a better picture and open up the possibility for true HD to people who don't have super fast cable modems for streaming.
Something tells me this will be just like the DVD release. They'll release the (useless) theatrical versions first. Then a year later they'll finally release the extended versions.
No big deal. I won't be buying a Blu Ray player until the version 2.0 players are $125 or less. That won't happen until 2010 either!

Got that backwards dude. Using the all-powerful Dashboard, the 360 has custom soundtracks no matter what. Its the PS3 that's stuck with crappy built-in music without this feature.
This is one game that custom music is VERY IMPORTANT. Yet another reason to buy the 360 version.
How long are we into the PS3 life cycle now? Nothing seems to change. The PS3 has survived all this time on brand loyalty and the promise of great things to come. Looking back, most of the PS3 exclusives have been long overdue and have come up short of the mark if they do release. Multi-platform games are almost always better on the 360. At best MP games are equal on the PS3, but never better.

For a lot of games this doesn't matter. For driving games custom music is a must. Driving a music just go together. I can only take so much of that crappy urban music that comes with these games!
The controls were my favorite part of R6V1. I suspect the reviewer was playing the PS3 version instead of the 360 version. Either way I can't wait for this game. Other than the controls, this is a really good review of a AAA game.
The PS3 is definitely gimped by its tiny memory and poor memmory usage by the OS.
Two reasons why this expansion pack will never happen:
1) There is no expansion port to connect it to.
2) If there was a PS3 with more memory it would be so much faster/better and easier to program that it would make all the other PS3's obsolete.
